Buddy will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and devotion to family and friends.
Born on March 17, 1955, Buddy lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to those closest to him. He was known for his warm spirit, generous heart and joy he found spending time with his family.
He served honorably in the Army 2nd Armored Division (Hell on Wheels) as a Spec-4. He was the best welder anywhere around and shared his skills with anyone who could handle his teaching. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and sharing stories with anyone he met. He loved being with his family and back porch talks with Paul.
Buddy is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Villarreal, who stood by his side through life’s journeys and shared in countless treasured memories together. He also leaves behind children, grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends whose lives he touched with humor and knowledge in life's most valuable lessons.
A memorial remembrance will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 2-4pm at Colonial Funeral Home.
