

She graduated from John Marshall High School in San Antonio and Concordia Teachers College in River Forest, Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. In 1967 she married her husband of 33 years, Tom. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.
In 1989 she earned her Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston in Victoria, where she worked as an accountant for 20 years. Some of her favorite hobbies were music, sewing, crocheting, gardening, stamp collecting, and working puzzles. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Survivors: mother Margaret Klinkerman; sons Jim Ninke (wife Shelly) of Victoria, Tom Ninke (wife Tammy) of Spring; daughters Judi Montalbano of Red Oak, Jennifer Burdett (husband Jeremy) of Frisco; sisters Jean Rowe (husband Dan) of California, Ruth Hedge (husband Ron) of Florida; and granddaughters that she adored: Katy and Kristy Ninke, Madison Montalbano, and Emily Burdett.
Preceded in death by spouse Thomas J. Ninke, father Arnold W. Klinkerman, and son-in-law Michael Montalbano.
The family will greet friends on Friday, Dec. 9 from 6 to 7:30 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 10 at 2 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mark Mohrweis officiating.
The family wants to express their gratitude and heartfelt thanks to all those that provided help and care in recent years. We especially thank Dorothy Kubesch, Debbie Jozwiak, and Randy and Lisa Barr.
