Lawrence Larry Kowalik

Lawrence "Larry" Kowalik, of Victoria, Texas, passed away on January 26, 2018. Larry was born to Fred and Victoria Kowalik in McAllen, Texas. He was married to Lori Pavlish. He retired from the petrochemical industry after 43 years, "a long damn time". He was an avid outdoorsman and golfer who found great happiness in being surrounded by his family and friends. He was larger than life and brought joy to everyone who was lucky enough to know him. Larry loved people and lived his life with enthusiasm and passion.

He is preceded in death by his father, Fred Kowalik.

He is survived by his wife; children, Kris and Kristi Kowalik, Brandi Kowalik, Trent and Jennifer Oswalt, and Aaron and Brittney Pavlish; eight grandchildren, Kenley, Kole, Parker, Cooper, Taylor, Kenzie, Connor, and Wesley; sister Joanne (Bill) Moody, brother Dennis (Debbie) Kowalik; and mother Victoria Kowalik.

The family will welcome visitors on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 4:30 PM and a celebration of Larry's life will follow at 5:00 PM , at Rosewood Funeral Chapel located at 3304 East Mockingbird Lane, Victoria, Texas, 77904.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance at giving.tsalliance.org.
