Leroy Bruce, 83, of Victoria passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012. He was born December 12, 1928, in East St. Louis, Illinois. He served in the United States Air Force, and was employed by Alcoa for thirty-six years. Bruce was a Methodist. Bruce was a beloved "Pappy" to his three granddaughters.
Survivors include his wife, Marynelle Bruce of Victoria; daughters, Jenna Bruce of Victoria and Pam Bruce Furnary and husband, Michael, of Brentwood, California; grandchildren, Erin and Paige Furnary of Brentwood, California, and Jillian Bruce of Victoria; brothers-in law, Bill Blake and Boyd Blake and wife, Janice, and nephews all of Port Lavaca.
Memorial donations may be made to Victoria Public Library, First United Methodist Church Music or a charity of the Donor's Choice.
