Librado L. Perez Jr.

Librado L. Perez, Jr., 75, of Victoria, passed away surrounded by his family September 29, 2017. Librado was born October 29, 1941 in Alice, TX to the late Librado L. Perez, Sr. and Antonia Luna Perez. Librado worked hard all his life to provide for his family who always came first. He retired from Enron after 30 years of service. He loved to travel with his wife, Gracie and adored his family, grandchildren and great-grandson.

Librado is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gracie Trevino Perez; daughter, Loretta Perez of San Antonio; sons, Louis “Louie” Perez (Lisa) of Victoria, Librado “Lee” Perez III of San Antonio, Gonzie Perez of Victoria; daughter Leticia Aranda (Tony) of Ohio; sister, Josepha Medellin (Eddie) of Alice; brothers, Ramon Perez of Alice, Joe Perez (Sandy) of Brownsville; brother-in-law, Pete Trevino (Bertha) of Alice; sister-in-law, Sylvia Trevino of Alice; grandchildren, Lesley Perez of San Antonio, Victoria Perez of Alice, Lauren Perez of Victoria, Ashley Perez of Victoria, Tony Aranda Jr. of Ohio, Noah Lee Aranda of Ohio and great-grandson, Frankie Moreno IV of Alice.

He is preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gonzalo V. and Loretta Trevino; sister, Elodia Solis and brother-in-laws, Gonzalo Trevino Jr. and Manuel Solis.

A visitation will be Monday, October 2, 2017 from 5-7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7 PM.

Funeral mass will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 10 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial immediately following at Resurrection Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Louie Perez, Librado “Lee” Perez III, Tony Aranda, Tony Aranda, Jr., Noah Aranda and David Solis.

Memorial donations may be made to MD Anderson Cancer Research.
