Lila Belle Warren Phillips, age 95, passed away Monday, August 29, 2011. She was born September 20, 1915 in Williamson County to the late Sidney and Lonie Herrin Warren. She retired from the Sewing Machine Department at Montgomery Wards. She was a devoted Pentecostal.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, the Rev. Austin W. Phillips; sons, the Rev. Aldon H. Phillips and Robert Phillips; grandson, Steven Phillips; brother, Edwin Warren; and sisters, Pauline Martin and Lois Clark.
She is survived by her eight grandchildren: Deborah (Rev. George) Ridge, Robbie Phillips, Mark (Kim) Phillips, Al (Dolores) Phillips, Angela (Jerry) Elliott, Tim Phillips, Larry (Martha) Phillips, and Crystal (Dan) Kieran; twenty great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held 11:00 am Friday, September 2, 2011 at the Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City, with the Rev. George Ridge officiating. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
