Michaelene Schwab, 66, passed away February 23, 2021. She was the beloved wife of James Schwab and beloved mother of Luke (Brianna) Favors and Carmen Schwab. She was the beloved sister of Claudia Oney, Pamela Contreras (Ciprian), James MacDowell III (JoLynn) and Julianna Powell (Buddy).
Michaelene was a strong independent lady who loved her family. She enjoyed shopping, candles, embroidering and collecting knick-knacks. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her dogs, Zooey, Brutus and Sassy. She loved gardening and watching the sun set at night.
Michaelene was blessed with six grandchildren: Josie' Schwab and Faithe, Isabella, Dylan, Landon and Aston Favors. She was also blessed with nieces, Lauren Dunbar, Kayle and Jade MacDowell and Skylar Powell; and nephews Peter Meyer, William Oney-Paige, Beau Conteras and Trevar, Logan and Blake Powell. She also leaves behind her longtime friend, Cindy Jarrell.
Born April 1, 1954, she is preceded in death by her beloved parents. Pauline Joel Miller and James MacDowell Jr.
Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 2-3 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel followed by a Memorial Service at 3 PM.
