Opal Doris Langford Fowler

Opal is survived by her daughter, Gerri James and husband, Fred of Victoria; step-daughter, Myra Elliott of Nevada, TX; granddaughters, Rev. Beverly Patterson of Port Isabel, TX, Diane Ragsdale and husband, Jay of Pittsburg, TX; 5 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK and a brother, Charles Langford of Lawton, OK.

In addition to her parents, Opal was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Fowler, five sisters and three brothers.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 1-2 PM at the Grace Community Bible Church, 201 Glascow Street, where she was a member, with a funeral service to follow at 2 PM at the church, the Reverend Bill Pass officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Because Opal loved people and the Lord she always had a bright outlook on life and laughed easily. Her smile was a blessing to everyone that knew her and she will be missed.
