Patrick Alan Locher

Patrick would have been a senior at Victoria East High School. He was a member of OLV Troop 364, and through his 13 years of scouting he earned the Arrow of Light, and recently received the highest honor of Eagle Scout. He was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church where he was active in the Youth Group.

Patrick loved riding his motorcycle, water skiing, spending time with family and mentoring his cousins. He was an accomplished artist and loved to play guitar. He was a great friend and listener, had a wonderful sense of humor and a very infectious smile. He was the most wonderful son any parent could have ever wished for.

After graduation Patrick was looking forward to attending TSTC where he was going to pursue a degree in diesel mechanics.

Survivors include his parents, Tim and Deborah Locher of Victoria; grandparents, Chester and Mary Ann Lucas of Cuero, David and Nellie Jo ann Locher of Victoria; a large extended family including numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Lynn Marie Locher.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Friday, August 20, 2010, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 21, 2010, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Rev. John Waak officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Cristian David Gonzales, Travis Hessler, Sam Followwill, Zach Chinowith, Dean Chinowith, Derek Gibson and Layton Frederick.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of OLV Troop 364.

Memorials may be made to Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church or Boy Scouts of America South Texas Council.
