Paul Henderson Williams

Born an only child to Rice and Abbie Williams in Dallas, Texas, on January 19, 1925. Resided in Cameron, Texas, until 1943 at the time of enlistment in World War II. Served in the Army 86th Infantry Division Blackhawks from 1943 to 1946. Received Infantry Combat and other medals. Entered the Air Force in 1946 and retired in 1963 a Bronze Star recipient.

After military service Paul worked as a Quality Control Inspector for Gary Aircraft and Skytop-Brewster.

Paul is survived by his wife of 38 years, Wanda Williams, his three daughters, Patricia (Roland) Perkins, Alice (Wilfred) Baker, and Kelly (Otis) Shiller.

Upon marriages to Doris Williams (dec.) and Wanda Williams of Victoria, Texas, Paul acquired 10 bonus children; Judy Anderson (dec.), Anne Staggs, Reginald Schroat (dec.), Timothy Schroat, Kevin Schroat (Rita), Karl Schroat (Cheryl), Darla Holmberg, Mark Holmberg (Mary), Bryan Holmberg (dec.), Brad Holmberg (Stacey), 33 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren.

Paul was a kind, caring, gentle man who loved his God, country and family that was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter, Paula, and 3 bonus children.

A memorial will held for Paul at Blyth Church of Christ at 11:00 am Saturday, June 23, 2018 with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council.
