With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Dr. Radha Krishna Rao Gullapalli who attained eternal peace Thursday the 13th of March 2025. He was born on Feb 15th 1946, in Andhra Pradesh, India to parents Kutumba Rao and Rajeswaramma Gullapalli.
His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and service to others. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him.
He graduated from medical school in 1975 and after coming to the US in 1980s he did his Pediatric Residency and Allergy Immunology Fellowship. He was a board certified Pediatric Allergist that dedicated his career to the Victoria Community.
It was in Victoria, Texas, that he truly found his calling. Recognizing the potential of a small humble church, he transformed it into a thriving practice. Partnering with his colleague, he expanded his reach by establishing satellite clinics in Beeville, Rockport, Wiemer, and El Campo. For over 40 years, he served as the sole pediatric allergist for many children touching countless lives with his unmatched compassion and relentless dedication. A devoted soul, he lived a life rooted in kindness and service to others.
A cherished husband, father, brother, and grandfather is survived by his wife Uma, son Banti, daughter in law Vindhya, daughter Raji, sisters Leela and Sairani, brother Kumarbabu and four grandchildren Riya, Leela Rose, Maya, and Surya.
Friends are invited to attend a visitation to greet the family from three o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday the 16th of March 2025 until five o'clock in the afternoon at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, 3304 Mockingbird Lane in Victoria, Texas.
On Monday, the 17th of March 2025 at eleven o’clock in the morning you are invited to attend an Antyesti ceremony at Rosewood Funeral Chapels, 3304 Mockingbird Lane Victoria, Texas Family and friends are requested to join in paying their last respects and participating in the prayers. “Sadgati Praptibhavatu”
