Rita J. Sparks

Rita Jo Sparks, 65 of Victoria passed away on Monday, September 19, 2011.She was born March 19, 1946 in Denver, Co to the late Harlin A. Widick and Luella Noel Widick. Rita was an Aide in the Nursing Home Industry for many years.

Survivors: Daughters, Chris Sparks, of Victoria, and Nicki Hime, of Gatesville, Tx. Son, Scott Walz, of Wheat Ridge, Co. Sister; Wilda Dunton ( Russell ), of Grand Junction, Co. Nephews: Glen Long, Jr, Tommy Long, Johnny Long, all of Colorado. Also survived by 17 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: Parents, and Husband, Kenneth D. Sparks, Sr. Sons; Baby Allen, Baby Robbie, David Walz.

A Private Service will be held at a later Date.

Honorary Pallbearers; Lisa Sparks, Tanya Nielson, Audrey Escalante, Julie Hime, Katherine McBride, Elizabeth Sparks, Tara Sparks, Angela Howard, Destiny Sparks.

Rita was a Loving Devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother She did all and gave all for her family. Rita did everything from preparing the meal to taking the time to eat those cookies in bed with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to have family and friends gather at her home where she played host to the best parties and bbq’s all summer long.
