Roy Autry

Roy worked as a project manager for H.B Zackary until retirement and was a total “boss man”, even after retirement. He enjoyed golfing on Friday and fishing on Saturday with his boys. He loved dominos and shooting pool. He enjoyed dance halls and just having a good time.

Roy is survived by his sons, Russell Wayne Autry (Stacy) of Victoria, Gayle Dean Autry (Anna) of Gonzales; grandchildren, Cody (Tabitha), Justin (Nina), Amanda (Noe), D’Laine (John), Tom and his great-grandchildren, Myles, Phoenix, Layne, Nash, Paisley, Maddie, Jeron and Emery. He also leaves behind Bandit, his faithful four-legged companion.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marion Jenett Autry and brothers, Troy Lee Autry (Roy’s twin) and Alton Dean Autry.

A graveside service will be Friday, February 6, 2026 at 10 AM at Crescent Valley Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Russell Autry, Gayle Autry, Cody Autry, Justin Autry, Kirk Autry and Jimmy Perry.

Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Dementia Society of America.
