Ruby G. Harrell, 83, of Garland, formerly of Victoria passed away Friday, February 1, 2013. She was born May 13, 1929, in Clark to the late O. J. and Gladys Bruce Wilhoit. Ruby retired after teaching US History at Victoria High School. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy L. Richards of Dallas; son, Dan T. Harrell, Jr. of Spring; brother, Howard “Dink” Wilhoit of Clearwater, Florida; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan T. Harrell.
Visitation will be held from 11 am – 1 pm Monday, February 4, 2013, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, followed by a graveside service at 2 pm at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Mickey Ewing will officiate.
