

Stephen G. Eddleman, 60, of Victoria passed away Friday, December 2, 2011. He was born July 14, 1951, in Bay City to Gladys Meyer Wood and the late David H. Eddleman. Steve served his country in the National Guard and was decorated for marksmanship. Steve was employed by Dupont/Invista for thirty-nine years. He was a member of the NRA, The Corvette Barn and a former member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. Steve was a graduate of Stroman High School and the Univeristy of Houston. He also contributed to Wikipedia and was the historian and genealogist for the Meyer and Eddleman families. Steve was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.
Steve is survived by his wife of 41 years, Donna Lassmann Eddleman; his mother, Gladys Wood of Schertz; daughter Michelle Leikam of Austin; son, Eric Eddleman and wife, Isabell of Richmond; 3 grandchildren who were the love of his life, Antone Leikam, Andrew Eddleman and Ryan Eddleman.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his sister, Caryl Marburger, and his step-father, Dewey Wood.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Monday, December 5, 2011, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels, Rev. John Waak officiating. Burial with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jack Anzaldua, Jacob Garcia, Charles Bibb, Robert King, George Meinke and Jeremy Massey.
