Trustin O. Murphy Jr.

Trustin O. Murphy, Jr, 82, of Victoria passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012.

He was born on January 31, 1930 to the late Trustin O. Murphy, Sr and Blanche McAllister Murphy.

Trustin was retired from Mrs. Baird’s Bakery as a Route Salesman and in the Maintenance Dept. with over 33 years of service. He was also active in Scouting for many years where he served as Cub Scout Leader of Pack 104 and Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop #368. Trustin was also a member of First Christian Church.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors are sons, Patrick Murphy, of Victoria, Trustin Norris of Victoria and John Norris, of Victoria; brother, Harold Taylor, of Tulsa, OK; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by wife, Mary Lou Murphy, son, Shawn S. Murphy; sisters, Doris Murphy, Gloria Burks, Dorothy Lookout.

The Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home. The service will be held on Monday, July 30, 2012, 10 am at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
