Vincente Z. Garcia Jr.

Vincente Z. Garcia, Jr., 73, of Victoria passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019. He was born November 4, 1945 in McAllen to the late Vincente R. Garcia, Sr. and Juanita Zarate Garcia. Vincente was a crew pusher in the oilfield.

He is survived by his wife, Sophie Garcia; daughters, Veronica G. Reyna of Victoria, Jennifer Garcia Gold of Austin; grandchildren, Valarie Gold, Amanda Gold, William “Trey” Gold III, Andrew Vincent Reyna, Samantha Lee Reyna and Jacob Robert Reyna; sisters, Gloria Galvan of Bloomington, Velma Cantu of Angleton, Alice Garcia of Bloomington, Josie Lara of Angleton, Lupe Smalley of Pearland; and brothers, Clemente Garcia of Alvin, Antonio Garcia of Victoria, Penny Garcia of Alvin, Alfred Garcia of Austin, Sylvester Garcia of Port Lavaca, Edward Garcia of Bloomington.

In addition to his parents, Vincente was preceded in death by a sister, Yolanda Garcia; a brother, Jesse Garcia and a brother-in-law, Robert Galvan.

Services will be at Our Lady of Sorrows on Saturday, November 9, 2019 with a Rosary to be recited at 8:30 AM and the Memorial Mass to begin at 9:00 AM.
