

William Howard “Billy” Sullivan, Jr. 73, of Victoria passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013. He was born August 24, 1939 in Goliad, TX to the late William H. and Martha Waller Sullivan. Billy graduated from Goliad High School in 1957 and was a 1978 graduate of UHVC. Mr. Sullivan began his career with Central Power and Light in the Goliad office in 1961 and retired in 1998 as the General Manager of the CPL’s Central Region. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Cathedral and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his four daughters, Sallie Sullivan of Victoria, Mary Sullivan of Victoria, Kellye Sullivan of Asheville, NC and Amy (Ray) Lara of Victoria; sister, Mary Jo Abrameit; brother, Michael Waller Sullivan both of Goliad and three grandchildren, Jarrod Sullivan, Ethan Lara and Braeden Lara.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Sullivan was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Nan Sullivan on November 7, 2004.
The family will receive friends from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM, with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 AM, Father Charles officiating. Interment will be in Catholic Cemetery #3.Pallbearers will be Jarrod Sullivan, Kevin Arnold, Michael Arnold, David Arnold, Michael Sullivan, Destry Gruetzmacher and Stephen Berger. Honorary pallbearers are Doug Borden, Ned Pyatt, Dr. Juan Llompart, Dr. William Shay, Braeden Lara and Ethan Lara.
