William P. Wright

Pat was born on March 27, 1957 in Victoria, Texas to John & Irma Wright. He graduated from Victoria High School. Pat worked several instrument jobs on and off since he was 18. He worked several years as a cabinet maker. He then started working for contractors at the Point Comfort Formosa Plant and worked for 23 years, in the Chlor-Alkali Unit.

Pat married Donna Atkinson on May 10, 1980 and they were married for 36 years. He was the proud father of Sarah and Shaun, and proud grandfather of three grandchildren.

He is survived by his mother, Irma Wright; loving wife, Donna Wright; daughter, Sarah Willingham, son-in-law, Joshua and grandson, Joshua Jr.; son, Shaun Wright, daughter-in-law, Jena and grandchildren, Ethan and Rhys. He was preceded in death by his father, John Wright and his brother, Mike Wright.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Gonzalez, Mike Templin, Larry Olivarez, Paul Sullivan, Jesse Dickerson and Gustavo Bueno. Honorary pallbearers are all the guys and gals from the Formosa Plastics Chlor-Alkali Unit, Point Comfort Complex.

The family will gather for a visitation to be held on Friday April 7, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Colonial Funeral Home with Pastor John Waak officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
