
Amy Marie Hans passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, at the age of 44. Born on July 15, 1981, Amy was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, dedicated nurse, and faithful friend whose kindness and compassion touched countless lives.
Amy is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, and mother, along with many extended family members, friends, colleagues, and patients who were blessed to know her.
Amy's life was defined by her unwavering faith in God, her boundless love for her family, and her deep commitment to serving others. She lived each day with a generous heart, always putting the needs of those around her before her own. As a wife and mother, she worked tirelessly to ensure her family was cared for, supported, and loved. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her loved ones and helping them thrive.
Her caring spirit extended far beyond her home. As a nurse, Amy was known for her exceptional compassion, dedication, and tireless work ethic. She treated every patient with dignity, kindness, and empathy, often going above and beyond to provide comfort during difficult times. Her passion for caring for others earned her numerous nominations for the DAISY Award, a national recognition honoring extraordinary nurses for their clinical excellence and compassionate care. In August 2021, Amy was honored to receive the DAISY Award, a testament to the profound impact she made on the lives of her patients and colleagues.
Amy will be remembered for her selflessness, her infectious warmth, her steadfast faith, and her unwavering commitment to helping others. The love she shared and the lives she touched will remain a lasting legacy for all who knew her.
