Crystal Jean Chavez

Crystal Jean Chavez, 51, born in Albuquerque, NM passed away January 2, 2025. Crystal was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Fransiquita and Jorge Chavez Sr, maternal grandparents Vivian and Estevan Baca of Cubero, NM, nieces Vanessa, Stacy, and nephew Cesar Chavez along with other loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Raymond Tenorio Sr, sons, Andre and Raymond Jr; daughters Vanessa and Audriana of Southern California. In addition, she is survived by her parents, Beatrice and George Chavez Sr. and, Brothers, George Jr, Francisco and Juan Chavez of Cubero, NM, Grandchildren, Cataleya, Mateo, Naomi, Raymond, Julian, Jesse and Mila of Southern California.

Crystal was an extraordinary mother. She loved supporting all of her kids. She loved going to Disneyland with her family. She was the family baker with cake-pops always ready in hand. She loved collecting purses, no matter how far she had to drive to get them. She loved to joke around and laugh with anyone she could. She was kind yet fierce. She protected everyone she loved.

She had seven grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She was the best Nana. Crystal showed love to everyone she encountered and welcomed anyone with open arms. Knowing Crystal was knowing love.

In March 2022, Crystal encountered an injury. After a long battle, Crystal is finally at rest. She passed away surrounded by her loving family. During her life, she showed us what being strong truly meant. She is finally free of any pain and ailment. This is not goodbye but see you later. We will find you in every lifetime.
