

Dale O’Dell passed away peacefully on September 6th 2024 at the age of 63. Born on April 2nd 1961, he was best known for the great love he had for his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed baseball, fishing, and golfing. He loved driving his boat in Lake Havasu and camping with his family. He was a lifelong Padre fan. He also loved to laugh and tell stories. He touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by wife Janet O’Dell, daughters Tiffany Taylor, Tennille Veniegas, and Tabitha O’Dell and son Tyler O’Dell. Sons-in-law Josh Taylor and Daniel Veniegas. Grandchildren Kaylee, Kyndra, Kai, and Kaden Veniegas, and Jackson Taylor. Father Dale O’Dell, sister Monica Kearney, and brother Tim O’Dell.
Dale worked for Local 669 for many years as a sprinkler fitter and then as business agent. Dale was a devoted business agent who loved his job. He worked tirelessly to make sure that all union members were well taken care of and heard. He fought for what was right, always with his union members livelihoods in mind, and through this earned the respect of the union. Dale took great pride in his work and in the friendships that grew there.
During this difficult time, the family respectfully has requested a private service on Friday, October 4th, 2024.
