And I lost touch with Dave when he moved to California we later connected through the Internet a fun memory when we were playing football in ninth grade and we needed yards we could count on Phillips to open up a big hole he was a heck of a friend and football player one thing that we keep is the fond memories that we had with him RIP Phillips you’re still in our hearts 

Playing football in jr high  with David who was a giant amongst  most of us little guys  was a pleasure  being able to call him a friend and teammate Rip my friend David I’m happy we crossed paths in life

I'm so sorry to hear about Dave's passing just now.  He was my first love, my first serious boyfriend and the memories are plentiful.  He lived a life full of the things that mattered to him.  May fond memories of him remain in the hearts of his family.
