Delbert passed away due to heart failure at the age of 83 on Monday, July 17. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Inez Turnbow, whom he lovingly referred to as “My Sweet” and she to him, “My Ponch.” He was an avid golfer and was a member for many years of the Green Tree Golf Course in Victorville and Enjoyed refurbishing bicycles as a hobby.
He is also survived by two beautiful daughters: Patricia Turnbow and Deborah Lopez, his four adoring grandchildren: Shannon Pettis, Delbert Turnbow III, Daniel Lopez Jr., April Lopez, as well as his two cherished great- grandchildren: Nicholas Pettis and Jacob Pettis. He was preceded in death by his son Delbert Lee Turnbow Jr.
Viewing and services will be held at Victor Valley Memorial Park & Mortuary located at: 15609 11th Street, Victorville, CA 92395 from 9:00am to approximately 12:00pm. Reverend Father John Fahnestock will officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA.
