Dolores married the late Julio A. Cajas in 1958. Blessed to raise 2 children, a boy and a baby girl. In 1967, she and Julio were blessed again to travel and work in the United States. For 3 years she was a housekeeper and nanny to the Millers in Santa Monica. The Millers helped both Dolores and Julio with their whereabouts in the States, as well delays of their oldest son's travels. When the contract expired, they found a new place to live in Los Angeles, Ca. Dolores found a job as a seamstress and Julio in a warehouse. They both worked endlessly to live the American Dream.

Dolores worked hard as a seamstress and on weekends, drove to Los Angeles to buy and sell toys and clothing to factories. Dolores always said that she worked to help her husband with the expenses and extras. They loved and enjoyed to travel and help others.
