Donna Jean Cameron

Donna Jean Cameron, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful follower of Christ, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2024, with her son Daniel holding her hand in Victorville, California. She was 86 years old.

Born in San Bernardino in 1938, Donna was the daughter of Frank DeMaio and Giovanna Grillo DeMaio. She graduated from San Bernardino High and embraced her role as a switchboard operator at Santa Fe Railroad.

Donna was preceded in death by her brother Robert DeMaio and her husband, Donald Cameron. She is survived by her big brother Frank DeMaio, little sister Nancy DeMaio Amori, and her four children: David Cameron, Debbie Cameron (also known as Pollock or Wilson), Dennis Cameron, and Daniel Cameron.

Donna’s unwavering faith in Jesus was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through acts of kindness and shared smiles with her little ones. Her love for family gatherings and Sees candy was surpassed only by her joy in being a grandparent.

She treasured her time with her six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, never failing to celebrate birthdays and holidays, especially Christmas.

Donna Jean Cameron’s legacy of love and faith will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
