

Garth also known as "Jason", was a Sargent in the United States Army. He fought in Vietnam, received A Purple Heart, and numerous Commendation Medals throughout his time served. He was a Commander for the VFW Post 5551 In Lucerne Valley, California and was also a Charter Member for the American Legion Post 879.
Garth loved fishing and hunting, loved to make jokes, and enjoyed being around good natured people. He was a plumber by trade, and loved working.
He is survived by his long time companion, Patricia Annella of Lucerne Valley. His son, Jason Waters Jr, of Red Oak, Iowa. His two step children, Stacey Jones of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Robert Lupien of Nebraska. His brothers, Ellwood and wife Mary Waters of Granada Hills, California, and Clete Waters of Anderson, California, Sister in law Barbara Waters (Wife of Garth's late brother Phil) of Garden Grove, California, Long time friend and caregiver, Richard Varella of Lucerne Valley. Last but not least, he is survived by his precious doggy, Little Stacy. Garth is also survived and remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as the many dear friends he made in this life.
Services will be held on April 8, 2017 at the VFW, 31861 Highway 18, at 1:00 pm, in Lucerne Valley,
A potluck lunch will be served following the services.
