He had 2 brothers, John and Bob, and 3 sisters, Fran, Marie, and Norma. He was always a hard working man. He started very young collecting bottles for coins, then had a newspaper route, and finally worked on the railroad before enlisting into the Army. He bought his first dream car which was a Pontiac convertible.
Not liking the cold weather, he and a couple of his buddies drove to California to start a new life. It is there that he met, and later married the love of his life, Frances Buracchio.
Married for over 40 years, they had 3 daughters, Denise Boik of Apple Valley, Desirie Gault of Barstow, and Destinie Renzo of Victorville. Their daughters gave them 11 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way.
George was always a good son, a great husband, and an amazing father and grandfather. He had an infectious smile and was adored by all who knew him .
