He graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a BA in Criminal Justice in 1982. He worked as a Wholesale Sales Representative. He was actively involved in stock trading and bird watching. Harvey was preceded in death by his father, Sidney Tannenbaum. He is survived by his wife Donna, daughter Francine Lynn, and mother Carole. He loved animals, especially dogs, and being with his family. He enjoyed going fishing and telling jokes.
The family would like to thank the nurses at St. Joseph Heritage Orange for the care and compassion they showed Harvey in his final days. The family would also like to thank Susan Loveridge, for the special attention she gave him as a nurse and sister-in-law.

A graveside will occur Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Victor Valley Memorial Park, 17150 C St., Victorville, CA 92395. A reception will occur Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 15609 11th Street, Victorville, CA 92395.
