Eyes watching, looking, searching faces, corners of the rooms looking for whatever may be harmful to her family. Protecting them all; siblings, children, nieces, nephews, and all other children that came her way from the pain of her youth. Eyes lighten up, mouth smiling, when any of her family/extended family had an accomplishment, did something cute or silly, or showed their intelligence in word or deed. But what lit her whole being was when any of those she loved said or did something that showed they cared for or loved her, from simply saying they loved her (with meaning) or checking on her when she was sick or couldn't do for herself (especially when it was done voluntarily). Words of encouragement and reprimand would spew from her mouth all motivated by the love she felt for you. But those arms, strong arms, that encircled you to show you love, joy, and provide comfort, with a hug that made you felt safe, comforted, and/or real love. Jackie, you were our mom, daughter, sibling, family, and friend and you touched our lives because you gave us that unconditional love, the whole love that you did not always get back. And though lack thereof caused you many days of pain, you still gave us your love and forgiveness. We will miss you Baby/Titi ; I will miss you until i meet you in death.
