Jean Marie Certo

Jean Marie Certo, a beloved, hard-working, inspirational woman, passed away on March 23, 2026, at the age of 74. She resided in Helendale, California. After this introduction, she will be lovingly remembered as Jean.

Jean was born on March 9, 1952 in Kensal, North Dakota and was raised in North Dakota and Minnesota then moved to California. Jean devoted 36 years of dedicated service to Kaiser Hospital, a testament to her steady commitment and strong work ethic.

On August 14, 1982, Jean married Peter Certo, and they shared 43 years of marriage. Together they had five children: Sandra, Christy, Jennifer, Stephani, and Jason. Jean was also blessed with 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by four sisters—Rosie, Patty, Sandy, and Shirley and two brothers, Leonard and Robert.

Jean found joy in crafts with the church ladies, Stampin’ Up, sewing, shopping, and helping at church, she had a great love for animals and never shied away from taking in a stray. These interests reflected her generous spirit and the care she extended to those around her.
