Lourdes Vergara Liwanag

Lourdes Vergara Liwanag, 90, was born in Manila, Philippines and passed away at home on August 2, 2018 in Victorville, California.

There will be visitation Monday, August 13, 2018 between the hours of 4-8 p.m. at Desert View Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 14th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Desert View Funeral Home. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Long Beach.

Lourdes Vergara Liwanag was born in Manila, Philippines to Ernesto and Primitiua on April 24th, 1928. She attended school in the Philippines. She was married to Ernesto P. Liwanag on January 1st, 1951 in Manila, Philippines. She worked as a seamstress for the Department of Defense Contracts for twelve years.

Lourdes Vergara Liwanag is preceded in death by her husband, Ernesto P. Liwanag.

Lourdes Vergara Liwanag is survived by her children and their spouses: Reynaldo & Carmen Liwanag, Enrico & Mercy Liwanag, Leo & Patty Liwanag, Lea & Alex Gilbuena, Dan Liwanag, & Eric Liwanag. Siblings: Chit, Junior, Concita, Tersie, Pining, Penchie, Monina, & Dory. Grandchildren: Ronecia Liwanag, Reynaldo Liwanag Jr., Rosheka Polk, Ivette Solis, Ernest Paco Liwanag, Charles Liwanag, Janna Liwanag, Melissa Woods, John Liwanag, Hanna Liwanag, Larissa Liwanag, Leslie Liwanag, Lizette Liwanag, Aaliyah Gilbuena, Aaron Gilbuena, & Allison Gilbuena. Great-Grandchildren: Antasialyn, Makhaila, Miko, Leon III, Jayden, Kaylani, Trey, Theodore, Nailiyah, Jusyis, Isaiah, Junior, Macy, Kaleb, and Jakie. Great Great-Grandchildren: Royce and Ryder.

The pallbearers will be: Reynaldo, Enrico, Leo, Eric, JR, Paco, CK, John, and Aaron.

The honorary pallbearers: Leon, Jayden, Leon III, Jose, Jusyis, and Isaiah.

The family of Lourdes Vergara Liwanag wishes to extend our sincere appreciation to her medical staff: Faye Coleman, Nathan Mosaneda, Sharde, and Lyn. We also want to say thank you to Dr. Alden Jallorina and Charter Hospice Organizations. The family extends a heartfelt and sincere appreciation to her caregiver Carmen Ivette Liwanag.
