October 17, 1969 – August 4, 2025
Patrick Alan Davidson a devoted father, partner, son, brother and uncle, passed away on August 4th, 2025, at 55 years old. Born on October 17th, 1969, to Robert Davidson and Olivia Soto, “Pat” grew up with a deep appreciation for hard work, loyalty, and family.
As a child, he grew up in Rowland Heights playing baseball under the loving guidance and coaching of his father. In high school and college, Pat’s friends remember him as a true beast on the football field – fierce, determined, and passionate about the game. He attended Rowland High School and later Rio Hondo College, where his football career was cut short by an injury, but his love for sports never faded.
Pat spent more than 25 years in the cable and communications industry, working for companies such as Charter Communications, Time Warner, and Adelphia. He also operated as a contractor and, in his earlier years, as a security guard aka “bouncer” — a role that suited his protective nature and quick wit. Pat took great pride in his work, always striving to do his best and enjoyed helping others along the way.
Pat was a true social butterfly, making friends wherever he went. His easygoing personality and warm smile drew people in, and although his tough exterior might have suggested otherwise, he was truly a big teddy bear at heart. Always ready to lend a helping hand, he had a way of making everyone feel welcome and valued. He loved music, dancing (a good dancer at that), movies, UFC, and college football — he especially cherished spending every available moment alongside his son, watching him learn and grow while instilling the same values he is best known for.
His faith was an anchor in his life, guiding his actions and deepening his devotion to his family, whom he loved beyond measure. Pat is survived by his son, Jonathan; life partner, Becky; step-daughters, Karina and Isabel; mother, Olivia; brothers, Phil and Steve; sisters-in-law, Nancy and Wendy; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will carry on his memory. His presence, laughter, and giving heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held, where family and friends can gather to share stories, memories, and laughter in honor of the remarkable man he was.
