

On October 12, 1946 in Pasadena, California, a beautiful and healthy baby girl was born to James Lee and Pearl Ayeline Julien, they named her Phyllis Elaine. She was one of seven children blessed to this couple.
On March 25, 2016, at her home, surrounded by family, Phyllis went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Phyllis was a resident of Victorville, California for 39 years. She moved to Victorville in 1977 with her husband of 46 years, Dallas H. Adams Sr. and their 5 children.
Phyllis worked for the Daily Press newspaper in Victorville for over 12 years as a secretary.
Phyllis was fond of bowling and enjoyed bowling in the Las Vegas Kings and Queens league at Victor Bowl in Victorville.
She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and spending time with family. She was a collector of bells, lighthouses, and Thomas Kincade plates, figurines and other collectibles.
Phyllis enjoyed listening to gospel preaching every morning and listening to country music.
Phyllis was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Victorville.
Phyllis is survived by her son, Patrick Scott Adams of Victorville, California, daughters; Marjorie Elaine Stewart of Kingston, Ontario Canada and Kellie Marie Beltrame of Charter Oak, Covina, brothers; Phillip "Hoppy" Julien and Jeffrey Julien, sisters; Mary Hixson, Patricia Schimmel and Cindi Starnes. 22 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a large extended family and friends.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband; Dallas H. Adams Sr., son; Dallas H. Adams Jr., daughter; Shannan Leigh Gray, parents; James Lee and Pearl Ayeline Julien, brother; James Lee Julien Jr.
