Former high school and middle school teacher, Bill Mayer, died Wednesday, May 6th, in San Juan Capistrano of natural causes at 78 years old. Bill was a veteran educator with over 30 years at Apple Valley school district. During his tenure, he taught a wide range of subjects including English, history, economics, and political science.
Bill lived a rich life with a rewarding teaching career, as a loving parent and grandparent, with hobbies of photography, backpacking, and motorcycling.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 16th at 2:00 at Victor Valley Mortuary.
