

The Obituary of Warren Roscell Stockton Warren Roscell Stockton, (68) of Los Angeles California died February 22 2017 at (Victory Valley Global Medical Center) in Victorville, California. He was born to Lee Alyce Stockton, on March 2, 1948 in Dallas, Texas. where he lived until the age of 8. in 1956 the Stockton family relocated to Los Angeles, California. While living in Los Angeles, he attended Western Ave Elementary School and Manual Arts High School. After graduating from Manual Arts High School in 1966, he attended 1 year at LA Trade Tech College majoring in automotive. In 1967 he enlisted into the United States Army. After enlisting in the United States Army, he was stationed in Germany. he was an Army Bandsman for 40 years. (1967-2007) three years’ regular Army band and 37 years’ Army RES/National Guard Army Band. After returning from Germany he applied to RTD (Rapid Transit District) in 1970. During his career at RTD/MTA he has accumulated many achievements. He worked for Metro Transportation for 47 years, as a Bus/Rail Operator, Rail Supervisor, and Rail Operations Controller (ROC). Warren was a passionate man who loved playing his saxophone and listening to Jazz music. He enjoyed working on his 1957 Chevy Bel Air and taking it out to street races along Alameda Street. As a young boy, he was always fascinated by trains which lead him to get involved with Model Railroading. In his spare time, he enjoyed maintaining his yard (cutting grass). He also enjoyed going out to Catalina Island to fish with his best friend Mike Ford. One of his many things he loved to do was Cooking, which he took pride in doing. It made him happy seeing everyone enjoying his food. He survived by his wife Maria Celia Stockton, three children, Warren Roscell Stockton, Gary Roscell Stockton and Eric Geovanni Melendez, his sisters, Aileen Philpots, and Kimberly Parr of Texas. He also leaves behind 2 grandchildren Marissa Marie Melendez and Jazzlyn Janelle Stockton. he also has a niece and nephew by the name of windy and Michael with children and many other loved ones.
