Mrs. Granger, a Ville Platte native, has resided in Vinton for 60 years. She retired from Calcasieu Parish School Board after 15 years of service as an aide. She has been an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, serving on the bereavement committee and the Catholic Daughters.
She enjoyed quilting with The Country Cousins and she had passion for food—cooking and feeding her loved ones. Angela loved baking and sharing her sweets. She took joy in playing a good game of Canasta. She cherished her family and friends.
She had a deep love for the Lord. Her church family was very dear to her heart. Angela had a true servant’s heart and will be remembered for always caring for others and tending to their needs. She has sponsored a child, Leenard, for over 10 years with Food for the Poor and has worked with the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal in New York feeding the homeless.
