She is preceded in death by her husband, Sam Honeycutt; parents Emerson and Ella Perkins; and brother Willard Perkins; sisters, Etta Pugh, Ethel Perkins, Ella Johnson, Della Perkins, Essie Drake and Georgie Stroud.
Survivors include her daughter Loretta Honeycutt of Westlake, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces , nephews and friends.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, in the First Pentacostal Church of Starks. The Rev. Greg Frazier will officiate. Burial will be in Doyle Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, all at the church.
