

Clifford was born July 17, 1936 in Vinton. He completed 1 year of high school at Vinton High School and received his G.E.D. He served honorably in the United States Army from 1954-1957. Clifford received the Good Conduct Medal and was stationed in Fort Benning, GA and later served in the infantry in the Korean Conflict.
He was an avid photographer and loved NASCAR, Dallas Cowboys football, tinkering with car engines and gathering with his friends most mornings at TOT Moore's garage. Clifford worked at United States Steel American Bridge Division from 1960 - 1982. After his retirement he and his wife, Judy, opened Uncle Pie's Sausage and Boudin Shop in Sulphur, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oran Joseph Laughlin and Agnes Laughlin.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Judy Laughlin; son Mikel Laughlin of Chicago, IL; daughter, Michelle Laughlin Ishee of Vinton, LA; sister, Joyce Hayes of Sulphur; nephew Ricky Hayes of Lafayette, LA; niece Donna Sue Benoit of Sulphur; and several cousins.
Cremation was entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. A memorial Service will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 27th.
