Cora Belle Oubre

She was a native and lifelong resident of Vinton. Cora enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, crabbing, fishing, and traveling.

Survivors include her daughters, Kristal Boudreaux and husband, Wilson, and Fayme O'Brien; her siblings, Edgar Landry and Myron Burke, both of Deweyville, Texas, Theresa Blanco of Sulphur, Amanda Stewart of Lake Charles, Melissa McGuire of Kentwood, and Marcia Sanchez of Orange, Texas; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Trilby Landry and Bernice Burke; her children, Corey Michael Oubre and Bobby Pavia; and her siblings, Trilby Landry, Avery Burke, James Allen Burke, and Albina Burke.

A Celebration of Cora Belle's Life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 22, in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton led by Jody Barrilleaux, Celebrant. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly.
