Curtis Ray Walker Sr.

Curt proudly served in the U.S. Army. Curt drove for Monroe Trucking for over 15 years before opening a business with his parents called Home Specialty Small Engine Repair. He delivered newspapers for The American Press and was a U-Haul Dealer in Vinton for many years. The most important thing to Curt was his family, but especially his grandkids.

Curt was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Wilma Walker, and a brother, Charles Walker.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Curtis Ray Walker, Jr.; daughter, Amy LeBlanc and husband, Joseph; grandchildren, Johnathon Leger, Brodey LeBlanc, Bailey LeBlanc, and Ryder Walker; six sisters, Charlene Brawner and husband, Edward, Cathy Walker, Chris Riggs and husband, Tom, Cherry Picard and husband, David, Carol Dommert and husband, Tony, and Carla Walker Grimes and wife, Laura; sister-in-law, Karen Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Curt's wishes were to be cremated and cremation was entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton.
