Davon Parish

He was a native and lifelong resident of the Vinton/Starks area. He was a student at Starks High School where he played basketball and baseball. Davon loved hunting, welding, and dancing. He was active in the youth group at Starks First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his grandfather, Larry Parish of Vinton; his grandmother, Renee Hibbs and husband, Joe of Starks; his adoptive mother, Virginia Cole of Call, Texas; great-grandparents, Tom and Joan Mulhollan of Call, Texas, and Dorothy Lacy-Parish of Vinton; and his uncles, Keith, Bryan, Tom, and Tony Mulhollan, and Kenneth Parish. He is preceded in death by his mother, Felisha Parish.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 10, in Starks First Baptist Church. The Revs. Chris Dubose and Russell Beard will officiate. Burial will be in Niblett's Bluff Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton.
