

Mr. Duhon was born February 2, 1939 in Orange, Texas to Joseph and Mary Duhon of Ged, Louisiana and he graduated from Vinton High School in 1957. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1962. After his honorable discharge, he married Patricia Ann Ogea at a candlelit ceremony on September 7, 1963 at Crossroads Baptist Church in Vinton. Glenn was employed from 1963 to 1985 with PPG as a maintenance engineer, retiring with 22 years of service. Following his retirement, he wrote industrial procedures for Exxon Mobil until 2009 in Houston, Texas. He lived in Vinton his whole life and was a member of PPG Retirees Association. Glenn enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Patricia Ann Duhon of Vinton; his three sons, Glenn Duhon and wife, Sheila of Houston, Texas, Jeffrey Duhon and wife, Crystal of Alvin, Texas, and Shannon Duhon of Vinton; and his three grandsons, Alex, Damien, and Erik Duhon. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Duhon; his four sisters, Ruby, Lula Mae, Mary Lou, and Jimmy Jo; and his three brothers, Otha, Otis, and Clarence Joseph.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 24, in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vinton. The Rev. Susil Fernando will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Visitation is from 3-7 p.m. Friday with a rosary service at 6 p.m. and from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home.
