Survivors include his four children, Shelby Moody of Belle Chasse, La., Darrell Doucet and wife, Becky of Vidor, Tx., Nina Dawson and husband, Bobby, Jr. of Belle Chasse, La., and Jon Ella Moody of Zwolle, La., 9 grandchildren, Isaiah, Summer, Javier, Mia, Logan, Jared, Chasity, Shelbie, and Isabella; a brother, Aaron Moody and wife, Susan of Vinton; a sister, Melisia Young of Vinton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Shelby and Eva Moody, a sister, Nina Glaze, and a brother, Robert Stewart.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton. Celebrant Jody Barrilleaux will lead the service.
