Arnold E. Lewis, Jr., 89, passed away on February 8, 2016. He was born on April 12, 1926 to the late Gladys E. and Arnold E. Lewis, Sr., in Bradenton, FL. His wife, Helen K. Lewis, preceded him in death.
Mr. Lewis was a retired Norfolk Naval Base Policeman and proudly served in the U.S. Army in WWII and Korea. He was also a proud Mason and Shriner.
He is survived by his three daughters, Rita E. Fiske, Candice E. Chick and Elizabeth "Betty" Frizzell and two sons, Kenneth L. Land and Albert N. Land, Jr. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and family members. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 1:00pm at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, 4889 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462 with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
