Ben retired from the U.S. Navy after twenty years of service and later became a bartender, where he continued to serve his community.
Ben was a loyal family man who had so much love to give. He loved music, sports, movies and spending time with friends. Anytime someone needed help, he was there. He was the first person many would call in an emergency. He always protected his loved ones.
Ben was over seventy days sober and would often support others in sobriety. He was proud of his family and would always tell stories about his friends, family and many adventures. People gravitated toward him while hit lit up the room with his amazing energy.
He is loved and will be missed.
Ben is survived by his family, Trisha, Chrystal, Ben, Gabe, Antonio, Velia, Enjoli, Crystal and Rommy.
A celebration of life for Benjamin will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Smith & Williams Funeral Home/Kempsville, 4889 Princess Anne Rd, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462.
