Brigida Rigonan Flojo, 78, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. A native of the Philippines, she was born of the late Lucello and Geronima Rigonan Pareja. Devoted to her family she spent her life taking care of her husband and the rest of her beloved family. In her spare time she loved crocheting and playing Tetris on her Game Boy.
Her survivors include her husband, Agustin Flojo of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Luz Delarosa and husband Jerry and Emerita “Emy” Fernandez and husband Clemen both of Virginia Beach; one brother, Amor Pareja of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Delay PeBenito and Doring Clemente both of the Philippines and Violy Rosario of London; three grandchildren, Cheryl, Charlette, and Jill; six great-grandchildren, Simone, Miguel, Kaylah, Saige, Julianna, and Gabriel.
A visitation will be on Thursday evening 6-8pm at Smith and Williams Kempsville Chapel. A funeral service will be on Friday, 11am at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Virginia Beach with burial immediately following in Woodlawn Cemetery.
