A Norfolk native, Mr. Williams was a founding member of Kappa Alpha Chapter and graduate at Old Dominion University. He was a past President of the Tidewater Kennel Club, a member of the Dive & Rescue Team in Okinawa, Japan, and served as a Captain in the U.S.A.F. and was a self employed insurance appraiser.
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Pamela Wilhite Williams; a daughter Kimberly Morgan and significant other Ben Kemper; three grandchildren Amy and Hunter Waterfield and Derek Morgan, Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2:00 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel.
