Pastor Dorene J. King

Apostle King graduated from Octorara High School in Atglen, PA. After which, she served in the U.S. Army. Apostle King graduated from Rhema Seminary and College, in Norfolk, Virginia with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies. She graduated from Norfolk Seminary and College in Norfolk, VA with her Masters Degree in Divinity. Her desire was to complete her Doctorate Degree in Theological Studies and Divinity.

Bishop Joseph and Apostle D.J. King are the founders and overseers of New Beginnings Apostolic Faith Ministries, Inc. They have celebrated a 35 year God-centered marriage to one another since May 1, 1976. The Lord has blessed them with two children, Elder Miracle M. King and Minister Joe A. King, who assist them in all areas of worldwide ministry under the spiritual covering of the Lord Jesus Christ and New Beginnings Apostolic Faith Ministries, Inc. headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

N.B.A.F. Ministries has been blessed and empowered by God to spiritually cover churches and ministries in Italy, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas and within the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. The Kings believe in taking the Kingdom of God to the people, according to Mark 16:12 – 20, and teaching the practical application of the Word for daily living.

Apostle King lived a saved and Holy Ghost filled life for nearly 40 years. She would often proclaim “God’s Word is true. It has the power within itself, to bring itself to pass”.

Change only comes in the presence of the Lord!

There will be Homegoing Services in Norfolk, VA on Thursday, February 2, 2012 and in Parkesburg, PA on Saturday, February 4, 2012. Service location and times are listed below.
