Edna Morrison Durham

Edna Morrison Durham, 97, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Springmoor Retirement Community, Raleigh, NC. She was born October 2, 1918 in Portlock, South Norfolk, VA to the late Albert Sidney Morrison, Sr. and Dorothy M. Morrison. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Durham, Sr. and her brother, Albert Sidney Morrison, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters, Lori J. Durham, Hampton, VA and Linda D. Collier (Ron), Raleigh, NC; son, Harold Lee Durham, Jr. (Ginni), Wilmington, NC; five grandchildren, Kayce Collier Petty, Joshua Lee Durham (Carolyn), Matthew Durham Collier, Joseph Michael Durham (Vanessa) and Stephanie Jayne Butler; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Edwin Ray Morrison (Jean) of Charlotte, NC.

A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6309 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk, VA on Monday June 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends at Suburban Christian Church, 5132 Bellamy Manor Dr., Virginia Beach, VA following the service.
